Fake jobs (work from home, likes, tasks)
How it works
- You receive a work-from-home offer on WhatsApp or Telegram: likes, reviews, simple tasks
- At first you receive small sums, to win your trust
- Then you are asked to deposit money “to unlock the next level” or to pay a “guarantee”
- The money you deposit never comes back and the account disappears
Warning signs
- High pay for little work, with no interview
- Contact only through messages, from a foreign number
- You have to pay in order to work
- There is no real company, with a tax number, that you can check
What to do
- A real employer does not ask you for money to hire you.
- Check the company on listafirme.ro or in the trade register.
- Do not deposit money in platforms recommended by a stranger.
- Report the offer and block the contact.
